These are scans of a few small prints I made from the huge amount of 35mm film I shot on my trusty Pentax while in Spain a couple years ago. The best part was having to wait until I came home and got back in the darkroom to find out what I had taken.
The mostly abandoned Olympic swimming and diving complex in Barcelona. The only sign if life is the tiny figure washing down the pool deck.
Looking back at the bridge in the middle of the town of Ronda. We hiked down the hill in the rain to get a view of the bridge itself.
Bullfight in Granada. I had mixed feelings about attending, but was glad that I did.

Going back to Black and White
These images are from a project exploring the style of early 20th Century portraiture, specifically looking at the work of Julia Margaret Cameron. They are silver prints on some beautiful warm tone Foma fiber paper which loses some of its luminosity after being scanned on my little home scanner. Even though these are harder to share I think that is what makes them special. And it was so much fun getting back in the dark room.

Ideas
This image is from a new project I am working on. Very much still in progress, but just to give you a taste...

Looking at the Night
These are images from my senior thesis project titled Looking at the Night. They are meant to be seen printed at 20"x30" mounted on 1/2" gator board and hung slightly away from the wall in a horizontal row. But here they are in a column for you! Enjoy!
